Bracelets for Brownsville!

In February 2022, youth from the Butterfly Effect and adult allies are going to volunteer with Team Brownsville, in Brownsville, Texas. Team Brownsville welcomes and supports immigrant families and provides food, water, shelter and basic necessities to immigrants at the Brownsville/Matamoros international bridges and at the Brownsville Bus Station. 

We need your help!

You can:

1. Make and send us friendship bracelets to bring with us! Sample instructions are here, but you can make any kind of bracelet you want. We want to give bracelets to kids who are entering the US as a symbol of friendship from kids here. You can make bracelets with your school, clubs, friends or family. 
   
2. Donate new children’s clothing, toys or books (Spanish preferred) – you can donate items directly to Team Brownville, or you can drop donations off to us and we will bring them with us.
   
3. Make a financial donation to Team Brownsville
